Glory Wars — Field Manual
Rules of engagement, scoring model, fortress geometry, offensive and defensive doctrine, phased battle plan, squad roles, and an interactive war checklist.
Primary Objective
DESTROY AC1
One Alliance Center to take down
Win Condition
Most Points
AC kills dominate scoring
Garrison Size
20 Trucks
Per Alliance Center
Rebuild Timer
4 Hours
Once destroyed it stays down
The Core Loop
Destroy the enemy's AC1 while keeping yours alive. The Alliance Center is only attackable when an open tile sits adjacent — your whole strategy revolves around clearing or blocking that path.
📊Scoring Model
Two Parallel Scoreboards
Personal points drive individual rewards. Alliance points decide the war outcome. They are not the same — a player can rack 2M+ personal points truck-farming and contribute almost nothing to the win. Coordinate the focus; don't reward solo farming.
S
Destroying enemy Alliance Center
Highest single-action value. Decides the war.
A
Destroying enemy S2 buildings
Required to open the path to ACs.
A
Reinforcing our own ACs & S2 buildings
Every blocked attack denies enemy AC progress.
B
Truck raids on enemy supply trucks
Steady personal score, low alliance impact.
C
Healing & survival metrics
Keeps the engine running. Doesn't move the scoreboard alone.
🧬Biotech Lab — Virus Resistance
Resistance is King
If your Biotech Lab level gives lower virus resistance than the enemy's seasonal building level, you lose a massive percentage of troops to infection before the fight even starts. Upgrade the lab before the war, not during.
What to check pre-war
- ›Open Biotech Lab → check your Virus Resistance stat
- ›Scout enemy state — what level are their seasonal buildings?
- ›If their building level > your resistance, upgrade the lab before the bell
- ›Low resistance = troop loss before a single hit lands — fix it first
Why it matters
- ›Infected troops go directly to permanent loss, not hospital
- ›A resistance deficit on your top hitters wastes your best gas budget
- ›The gap compounds — low-resistance states burn faster in sustained fights
- ›One lab upgrade can swing a war more than ten rallies
📜Rules of Engagement
The Alliance Center
- ›Each alliance has one Alliance Center (AC1) to defend
- ›AC1 is the sole objective — destroy the enemy's or defend your own
- ›Surrounding S2 buildings form the defensive shell around AC1
- ›S2 buildings can be placed to create overlapping walls for layered defense
Attack Eligibility
- ›An AC is only attackable when an OPEN tile sits adjacent to it
- ›Any open tile adjacent to the AC makes it attackable — fill every gap
- ›Alliance buildings take multiple hits and cost 5 gas per attack
- ›Destroyed buildings take 4 hours to rebuild — effects gone mid-window
Pre-War Window (T-5 min)
- ›Five minutes before start you can attack enemy alliance buildings
- ›No points awarded yet, but pre-strikes weaken their perimeter
- ›Never touch an Alliance Center pre-start — wait for the bell
- ›Use this window to fill gas, batch-heal, stage trucks at the border
Truce & Etiquette
- ›TvT agreements: alliance buildings and trucks only, no base attacks
- ›Confirm pacts in alliance chat BEFORE the bell, not during
- ›Other alliances in the bracket may target you regardless
- ›If a TvT partner breaks the pact — document and pivot, don't argue mid-war
⚠️Failure Modes
Solo Farming
Members chase truck-raid scores while the alliance loses the AC race. Ban it during AC pushes.
Scattered Targets
Twenty members hit twenty different tiles. Nothing falls. Always one target at a time.
Open Tile Gaps
Even one open tile next to your AC is a one-tile path for the enemy. Patch every gap pre-war.
Hospital Overflow
Hospital fills, troops die permanently. Batch heal constantly.
Pre-Bell AC Strike
Attacking an AC before the bell burns gas for zero points. Wait for T+0.
Skipping War Frenzy
Never hit a major AC without triggering the Frenzy buff first. The attack/defense boost is the difference.
Best Trucks on Defense
Top trucks on offense — defense is volume and rotation, not horsepower.
Ignoring Biotech Lab
Low virus resistance wipes your best troops before they land a hit.
